Inventory & Circuit Management Specialist

About the role

The Inventory & Circuit Management Specialist will lead and coordinate all inventory and circuit management activities for a large‑scale telecom transformation project in Damascus. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, operational excellence, and timely delivery of project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational and technical activities related to inventory and circuit management.
• Define and enforce inventory and circuit management rules across program streams.
• Coordinate with the Streams Program Manager, internal departments, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure rule compliance.
• Monitor project schedules, KPIs, quality metrics, and ensure assets are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Prepare technical reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates.
• Support planning, implementation, testing, optimization, and handover phases.
• Conduct risk assessments, issue resolution, and escalation management.
• Ensure adherence to HSE, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in technical reviews, audits, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Monitor resource utilization, operational efficiency, and service delivery performance.
• Provide technical guidance and coordination support to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–15 years of experience in telecom, infrastructure, operations, or project management.
• Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, operations, governance, and service delivery.
• Experience with telecom operators, vendors, system integrators, or large‑scale infrastructure projects preferred.
• Excellent communication, reporting, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with PMO processes, reporting tools, operational dashboards, and telecom systems is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNP, CISSP, PRINCE2 are preferred for senior positions.
