Oncology Business Partner

About the role

The Oncology Business Partner will act as a strategic bridge across commercial, market access, patient‑centricity, key account management and diagnostic functions. This role focuses on championing patient‑centric care and enhancing collaboration with healthcare professionals and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional initiatives that span commercial strategy, market access, patient‑centric programs, key account management and diagnostic collaborations.
• Champion patient‑centric care by improving engagement with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver solutions that enhance patient journeys and support earlier diagnosis of oncology conditions.
• Drive adoption and market penetration of the AstraZeneca Oncology portfolio.
• Coordinate project execution across multiple functions to ensure timely and impactful outcomes.

Required profile

• Doctorate degree in a relevant scientific or medical field.
• 6 – 10 years of experience in oncology business development, commercial, market access, patient‑centricity or diagnostics.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary internal teams.
• Strong understanding of patient pathways and early diagnosis processes.
• Track record of influencing adoption of oncology product portfolios.
