Packer Technician

About the role

The Packer Technician ensures smooth operation of production machines on the SMD line, supporting the achievement of productivity, quality, and waste‑reduction targets. The role combines technical support, routine maintenance, and continuous‑improvement activities in a safe manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to keep production machines running uninterrupted and meet quantity and quality goals.
• Execute scheduled maintenance and follow the maintenance plan for all equipment.
• Monitor waste levels and implement actions to reduce production loss.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects for machines and processes.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with occupational health, environmental, and EH&S policies.
• Complete required reports, checklists, and workflow tasks (e.g., clean, inspect, lubricate, defect handling, changeover).
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Technical high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Knowledge of production machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to follow established procedures and documentation.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and understanding of safety, hygiene, and environmental rules.
