YouTube Video Editor – French Entertainment

About the role

We are seeking a skilled, trend‑savvy Video Editor to join our fast‑growing YouTube Gossip & Entertainment team. The role focuses on creating dynamic, fast‑paced videos about celebrity news, viral moments, influencer stories and pop‑culture trends for a French‑speaking audience.

Key responsibilities

• Edit gossip, celebrity and entertainment videos optimized for YouTube performance.
• Apply strong storytelling instincts to maximise retention, clarity and pacing.
• Source relevant gossip, trending topics and high‑quality B‑roll to enrich each edit.
• Adapt visual and structural elements according to editorial guidelines and platform best practices.
• Collaborate daily with writers, producers and strategists to align with channel goals.
• Implement feedback quickly while maintaining technical quality.
• Stay up‑to‑date with YouTube formats, algorithm changes and competitor content.

Required profile

• Fluent French speaker (C1/C2) and good command of English (B1/B2).
• Proven experience as a YouTube editor with successful examples or references.
• Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, hooks, pacing, retention and metadata basics.
• Ability to spot trending topics and viral moments relevant to French audiences.
• Creative, detail‑oriented, organized and comfortable with fast turnarounds.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
