About the role

The Fleet Manager will oversee GAM Assurances’ vehicle fleet in Algiers, ensuring optimal availability, cost‑effectiveness and regulatory compliance. The role involves planning procurement, maintenance and transport services to support the company’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fleet evolution and forecast procurement, equipment and fuel needs.
• Plan and schedule repair and maintenance operations while respecting safety, cost, quality and deadline constraints.
• Place orders for tools, spare parts and fuel in close collaboration with the purchasing department.
• Track the fleet budget, analyse usage costs and ensure profitability.
• Verify regulatory compliance such as technical inspections and insurance.
• Manage preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance.
• Supervise the purchase of spare parts and the transport of personnel.
• Prepare activity reports and update tracking tools for repairs, usage, consumption and missions.
• Alert management of any anomalies or budget overruns.

Required profile

• Degree in Management or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar fleet‑management role.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and fleet maintenance is preferred.
