About the role
The Chef de Rang will deliver high‑quality service in banquet, restaurant and coffee‑break settings at the Algiers Marriott Hotel. You will act as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate service needs and special dietary requirements to chefs and stewards.
- Prepare and present group checks, handling payments accurately.
- Set up banquet rooms, restaurants and coffee‑break areas according to event specifications.
- Ensure proper centrepieces, table settings and the cleanliness of china, glassware and silverware.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety and security policies.
- Uphold professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant hospitality experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
