Experienced Technical Field Advisor – Mechanical

About the role

The Experienced Technical Field Advisor – Mechanical will join GE Vernova’s Gas Power One Field Services team. Working on customer power‑generating sites, you will ensure the reliable installation, maintenance, and calibration of a wide range of mechanical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and monitor site activities, including labor, tools and technical assistants.
• Perform on‑site installation of systems and equipment, followed by preventive maintenance, repair and calibration.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and provide technical assistance to customer representatives.
• Prepare and submit technical reports, job status updates, material orders, quotations, timesheets and expense sheets.
• Sign off on all changes and ensure compliance with GE safety standards.
• Coach, mentor and train team members on field engineering practices.

Required profile

• Completed all required competencies for the Technical Field Advisor role.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently on complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
