Field Engineer – NextGen Graduate Program

About the role

Join Weatherford’s NextGen Graduate Program as a Field Engineer and launch your engineering career on real oil‑and‑gas rigs. You will work on‑site at remote wellsites, gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge downhole technology while supporting customers directly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, deploy and operate advanced downhole tools to meet wellsite objectives.
• Use simulation software to design and optimise wellsite solutions for clients.
• Analyse performance data, recommend improvements and produce detailed post‑job reports.
• Manage equipment logistics and ensure safe, efficient set‑up at rig locations.
• Provide front‑line engineering support, resolve issues independently and champion safety and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline obtained within the last 24 months.
• Maximum of one year of professional experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking and a passion for hands‑on field work.

Required skills

• Advanced downhole tools operation.
• Simulation software for wellsite design.
