Field Engineer Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Field Engineer Trainee to join our team in Hassi Messaoud. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to customers while supporting field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute service delivery tasks and ensure accurate, timely job deliverables.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Assist design and technical engineers with technical programs and bid evaluations.
• Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards using the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), self‑assessments, and wellsite inspections.
• Lead service quality meetings with customers and implement action plans.
• Support HSE and quality initiatives, wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining safety certifications.
• Provide backup support to Job Delivery Leads and PSD Managers as needed.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electronics or a related field.
• Strong interest in field operations and service delivery.
• Basic understanding of engineering processes, safety, and compliance standards.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Motivation to learn and grow in field engineering.
