Maintenance Operator 3

About the role

The Maintenance Operator 3 is responsible for responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive and corrective maintenance across the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. The role requires independent work with minimal supervision while ensuring safety and compliance with local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of tools and equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; identify and operate shut‑off valves.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate daily activities to other shifts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Execute complex repairs on MEP systems, air‑conditioning, refrigeration, pool heaters, and related equipment.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Use engineering software for preventive maintenance, energy management, and system monitoring.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and perform Engineer on Duty duties.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with above‑average engineering operations skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Commitment to safety policies, reporting hazards, and completing required certifications.
