Manufacturing Operator I

About the role

The Manufacturing Operator I works on a high‑volume production line, operating converting and packaging equipment to create and package cloth‑based wipes. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to maintain product quality throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate, and stack various cloth materials.
• Run packaging equipment, including loading and threading film and labels to produce complete wipe packages.
• Manage automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support activities for manufacturing.
• Read and follow equipment procedures to set up and run machines safely.
• Observe machine performance, make minor adjustments, and involve maintenance when needed.
• Document machine settings and product attributes on required forms and logs.
• Provide backup for other positions and complete additional projects as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions, charts, and indicators.
• Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal calculations.
• Physical capability to lift objects up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold environments.
