Operator Assistant I – Coiled Tubing

About the role

Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals to join its Service Operator family as an Operator Assistant I – Coiled Tubing. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience with coiled tubing equipment, safety procedures, and wellsite operations in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑ and post‑job inspections of coiled tubing equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks on PSL equipment and support gear such as pumps and flowback lines.
• Assist with cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Support rigging up and down of service line equipment at wellsites.
• Complete required training modules (essential math, safety, red book, etc.) through internal career development systems.

Required profile

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong reading comprehension and writing abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid commercial vehicle driver’s licence for land operations.
• Commitment to safety, environmental awareness, and quality improvement.

Required skills

• Coiled tubing equipment inspection.
