Operator I

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Operator I to join our manufacturing team. In this position you will run converting line equipment, packaging machinery, and automated boxing lines to produce high‑quality wipe products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate, and stack various cloth materials.
• Run packaging equipment, loading and threading film and labels to create complete wipe packages.
• Manage automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support activities as needed.
• Read and follow equipment procedures, adjust machine settings, and document product attributes on required forms.
• Identify machine failures, make corrections, or involve maintenance.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring process parameters and making adjustments within specifications.
• Serve as backup for other positions and complete additional projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 2 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand charts, indicators, control instructions, and operator checklists in English.
• Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal calculations.
• Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold environments.
