QA/QC Inspector – Integrity & Reliability (I&R)

About the role

The Integrity & Reliability (I&R) Department is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to safeguard the integrity, reliability, and quality of critical plant and offshore assets in Qatar. The role involves performing inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections on pressure vessels, piping, welding, and fabricated components.
• Perform non‑destructive testing (NDT), post‑weld heat treatment (PWHT), and pressure testing.
• Support shutdowns, maintenance, repair, and modification activities.
• Carry out vendor inspections and verify welding procedures (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welding qualification tests (WQT).
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation in accordance with ASME, API, AWS, ASTM, and ISO standards.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, or Petrochemical environments.
• Preferred certifications: CSWIP, AWS‑CWI, ASNT Level II or equivalent.

Required skills

• Pressure vessels, piping, welding, fabrication, NDT, PWHT, pressure testing.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, ASTM, ISO standards.
• Experience with shutdowns, maintenance, repair, modification, vendor inspection, WPS/PQR/WQT, and QA/QC documentation.
