Senior Product Manager

About the role

Yassir is a super app operating in 45 cities across Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, offering on-demand services such as ride-hailing and last-mile delivery, and now introducing digital financial services. As a Product Manager, you will drive product initiatives from inception through execution, collaborating with designers, engineers, analysts and other cross-functional colleagues to build products that delight users. The role suits someone who likes a collaborative, lean product culture with rapid testing and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Co-create, coordinate and facilitate the team's product discovery process
• Work with engineers, designers and marketers to validate product ideas using product discovery frameworks
• Work with users and stakeholders to understand needs and the problem space through workshops and research
• Run secondary and primary research, prototyping and experiments (proto-personas, customer journeys, customer interviews)
• Turn customer insights into prioritized product ideas or experiments to test on the market
• Synthesize data into evidence-based recommendations based on business, market and customer needs
• Help develop business models, go-to-market plans and early traction tactics for new products with clients and the product team
• Facilitate agile ceremonies to deliver products on time and to agreed quality

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of proven product management experience with digital products or a similar role at a mobility, last-mile or quick-delivery startup
• Track record of launching consumer-facing digital products and services (B2B or B2C)
• Experience working with scale-ups
• Fluent English; able to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Dependable, enthusiastic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
