Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our DHL Global Forwarding office in Algiers. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audit processes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Control and bookkeep all DOEs documents in the SUN system.
• Prepare accruals for non‑received invoices.
• Follow up third‑party creditors and validate creditor payments.
• Prepare statutory yearly audit and tax submissions.
• Classify, archive, and reconcile all financial documents and payments.
• Generate required reports and provide data for CFO reporting.
• Participate in monthly closing activities.
• Assist colleagues with finance‑related queries.
• Support finance projects such as yearly audit and VAT declaration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Fluency in Arabic, French, and English.

• SUN accounting system.
