Associate Manager – Trade Marketing (Algeria & Tunisia)

About the role

BIC World is seeking an Associate Manager to lead Trade Marketing initiatives across Algeria and Tunisia, with a focus on accelerating growth of its Lighters category. You will translate regional and global strategies into locally relevant plans, working closely with sales, marketing and distributor partners to expand distribution and enhance brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual Trade Marketing plans by category, channel and customer, aligned with cluster growth objectives.
• Adapt global brand strategies to the specificities of the Algerian and Tunisian markets, including traditional trade, wholesalers and emerging channels.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities through consumer segmentation, loyalty programs and new‑channel development.
• Serve as the primary marketing liaison for distributors, coordinating activation plans, POSM, merchandising and trade programs.
• Build distributor capabilities through training and best‑practice sharing.
• Define merchandising and visibility guidelines, ensure best‑in‑class execution of trade initiatives, and monitor execution quality.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills to engage distributors and internal teams.
• Experience in trade marketing or commercial planning within consumer‑goods markets.
• Good understanding of the Algerian and Tunisian trade landscape, including traditional and emerging channels.
