Business Unit Lead - Djelfa

About the role

Philip Morris International is looking for a Business Unit Lead to join its team in Algeria, based in Djelfa. The role covers the assigned territory and supports the regional strategy in line with global business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive knowledge of the assigned territory and deploy the right plan.
• Take part in setting up the strategy for the territory and the region to support global business objectives.
• Plan and monitor distribution targets for existing and new brands, improving distribution levels across the territory.
• Follow up with external stakeholders on agreed market surveys, ensuring data quality through detailed briefs and field coaching.
• Drive coaching at front-line level and make sure digital and field sessions are properly implemented.
• Manage and review implementation initiatives and give clear direction on how to optimise them.
• Use the latest digital tools to improve the quality of the consumer and retail experience.

Required profile

• Graduate in Business Studies, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, ideally in FMCG.
• Driving licence with experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
