About the role
The company seeks a Buyer to manage procurement activities for petroleum engineering materials and equipment in Algeria. The role involves handling the full procurement cycle, from price inquiry to goods inspection.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct price inquiries, compare offers, and manage bidding processes.
- Negotiate contracts, execute orders, and oversee goods arrival inspections.
- Maintain knowledge of Algeria’s petroleum material supply market, local procurement channels, and logistics.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the petroleum sector.
- Familiarity with Algerian local laws, regulations, and international trade practices.
- Physically healthy, strict, and responsible.
Required skills
- Price inquiry and comparison.
- Bidding and contract negotiation.
- Order execution and goods inspection.
- Fluent in English and French (listening, speaking, writing).
