Buying Professional – Indirect Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a Buying Professional to lead indirect material commodity procurement in Algeria. You will support Siemens Healthineers' business strategies by ensuring a reliable, cost‑efficient supply of high‑quality materials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for indirect commodities.
• Act as the regional interface for higher‑level pooling and support cross‑functional business lines.
• Conduct demand, market and supplier analyses to define long‑term sourcing strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships, update evaluation systems, and drive joint work‑group initiatives.
• Identify and document cost‑saving opportunities, monitor KPIs, and report results transparently.
• Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure early involvement and excellent service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within the healthcare sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for procurement processes.
