Captain Waitress – Fine Dining Service Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and guest‑focused Captain Waitress to lead a service section at Little Krazy, a whimsical fine‑dining destination in Riyadh. You will ensure every guest receives attentive, knowledgeable, and personalised service from arrival to departure while acting as the key link between guests, kitchen, bar, and front‑of‑house teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalised table service in line with restaurant standards.
• Take ownership of a designated dining section, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout each shift.
• Welcome guests, introduce yourself, and create a warm, engaging dining experience.
• Present the menu confidently, explaining dishes, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
• Provide expert recommendations based on guest preferences, dietary requirements, and allergies.
• Proactively upsell premium menu items, signature beverages, desserts, and chef’s specials.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and on time.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Lead, support, and mentor waiters and food runners within your section.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years’ experience as a Captain Waitress, Senior Waitress, or equivalent in a premium restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine‑dining venue.
• Warm, engaging, and professional approach with strong guest‑service orientation.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and maintain high service standards.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Comprehensive menu knowledge, including allergens and dietary requirements.
• Food safety, hygiene, and health‑safety compliance.
