Chef de Rang – Guest Service Expert

About the role

The Chef de Rang is a Guest Service Expert who creates memorable dining experiences for hotel guests. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service, from setting tables to delivering food and drinks.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables according to hotel standards.
• Communicate orders and special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve guests promptly, answer menu questions and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations.
• Handle menu reading, verification and presentation.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and moving supplies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work safely on varied surfaces and follow company policies.
• Professional appearance, uniform compliance and strong communication.
