Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

The Commercial Operations Manager will lead contract and risk management activities for medium‑size sales territories, ensuring that all commercial agreements meet GE's risk and compliance standards. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy while adhering to defined commercial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, redline, and negotiate customer terms and conditions, NDAs, consortium agreements, and other contractual documents.
• Identify, register, and mitigate risks using the Risk Assessment Matrix and Salesforce tools.
• Lead cross‑functional risk review sessions with Tax, Legal, Finance, Operations, and EHS stakeholders.
• Own the Commercial Operations (ComOps) risk process, ensuring consistent application of policies, metrics, and governance.
• Support regional sales teams in strategy development, proposal creation, and achievement of order and financial KPIs.
• Drive change‑management initiatives to shorten cycle times, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Provide KPI‑based support to ITO teams and conduct post‑mortem analyses of proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, sales, risk mitigation, tendering or project management.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
