Demand Planning Coordinator

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Demand Planning Coordinator to join its Operations team in Algiers. You will support the Demand Planning Manager by ensuring data accuracy, conducting root‑cause analysis, and managing key performance indicators for the Maghreb and Levant clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and consolidate all inputs required for the monthly demand forecast, including historical sales, IT customer inputs and distributor data.
• Generate statistical forecasts and update the demand planning tool, ensuring correct Phase‑In/Phase‑Out transitions.
• Support the GPS/INP process by preparing review materials and consolidating inputs from Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Coordinate cross‑functional information on promotions, events and market dynamics, validating planning assumptions.
• Maintain accurate master data (SKU codes, hierarchies, product attributes) and validate demand uploads before system extraction.
• Build and update dashboards for forecast bias, submission FTR and PIPO FTR, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Provide exact data for order proposals, consolidate stock, sales and forecast information, and review recommendations with the Demand Planning Manager.

Required profile

• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a multinational FMCG or pharmaceutical environment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of local distributor management and supply‑chain processes.
• Degree in logistics, supply‑chain management or a related field.
