DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

A lean, senior internal team is building a highly resilient advertising platform using an AI-first development paradigm and open-source-style governance. The role owns the platform and delivery infrastructure end to end: clusters, infrastructure-as-code, delivery pipelines and the operational guarantees behind them. Reliability is a discipline carried by the engineer rather than a separate department.

Key responsibilities

• Own the cloud footprint through infrastructure-as-code and a GitOps workflow, keeping infrastructure declared, reviewed and versioned like code
• Own CI/CD so builds are reproducible, deployments predictable and rollbacks simple
• Own observability (metrics, logs, distributed traces), performance testing and backup / disaster recovery, and define measurable SLOs for a real-time serving platform
• Enforce quality gates throughout the pipeline and integrate AI into CI/CD, including automated reviews and security and policy checks
• Document everything; runbooks and architectural decision records are part of the job

Required profile

• 4+ years in DevOps / platform / SRE roles running production Kubernetes workloads (GCP preferred)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps in production
• Experience defining and defending SLOs, performance and disaster-recovery for latency-sensitive systems
• Comfortable integrating AI into the delivery workflow and automating quality and security gates in CI
• Exceptional written communication and effectiveness in a distributed, asynchronous environment (Paris timezone +/- 3h)
