Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician provides electro‑technical support to production areas, ensuring that all machines and peripheral equipment operate safely and efficiently. You will work on‑site in Oran, collaborating with shift personnel to maintain continuous production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce electrical safety protocols, including locked cabinets, LOTOTO, and interlock compliance.
• Deliver electro‑technical services to maximise machine availability during shifts.
• Coordinate with shift technicians to report, troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns.
• Identify, record and resolve machine defects, maintaining accurate fault lists.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
• Inspect assigned equipment, update documentation, software and drawings.
• Support installation and upgrades of equipment and peripheral systems.
• Train new technicians in fault finding and maintenance procedures.
• Participate in waste‑reduction initiatives, team talks and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Comply with BAT, EHS, 5S and occupational health and safety rules.

Required profile

• Education: Master 2, Ingéniorat or equivalent (Bac +5).
• Experience: 1‑5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work safely, follow procedures and coach on‑floor staff.
• Strong communication and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery.
• Equipment installation and upgrades.
• Technical documentation and drawing updates.
• Knowledge of safety protocols such as LOTOTO and 5S.
