English, Maths and Science Pearson iPrimary Teacher

About the role

Little Kingdom School (Mamlakat Ennour), a primary and secondary school in Sebbala offering both Algerian and British curricula, is hiring full-time, on-site Pearson iPrimary teachers for English, Maths and Science. The role is based in Algiers and involves planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with British and Algerian curriculum standards, using a range of teaching strategies and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Pearson iPrimary lessons covering English, Maths and Science
• Assess learner progress, maintain accurate records and give regular feedback
• Prepare reports to support academic development
• Manage the classroom and differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents and guardians
• Take part in staff meetings, professional development activities and school events

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; a specialisation in English, Maths, Science or primary education is highly beneficial
• Experience delivering primary-level English curricula and supporting literacy development
• Experience with Pearson iPrimary or similar international curricula is preferred
• Demonstrated classroom management and familiarity with inclusive, learner-centred teaching
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an advantage
