Field Service Technician II

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, test and repair its products, including equipment and tools, for customers worldwide. The role combines hands‑on technical work with direct customer interaction to ensure safe, high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and repair new and reworked TechnipFMC equipment and tools on site.
• Maintain communication with the Customer Representative regarding installation procedures, equipment requirements, tooling fit and technical data.
• Provide sales support by keeping the customer fully informed about all aspects of the job.
• Report quality issues and documentation of equipment or procedural defects to Service Management.
• Complete field documentation after each service job.
• Support new projects, including assistance with Factory Acceptance Tests and Systems Integration Testing.
• Prepare and complete safety‑related documentation and follow safe work practices.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a field service technician role.
• Intermediate knowledge of at least one of the following: electrical systems, subsea equipment, hydraulics, mechanical equipment/tools, or structural steel.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficiency in using technical tools and instruments required for the duties.
