About the role
China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation is looking for an HSE Supervisor in Illizi, Algeria. The post covers on-site health, safety and environmental supervision, hazard control and reporting within the project area.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, inspect and guide HSSE matters on site within the project area.
- Stop and correct violations of operating procedures, track identified hazards and supervise their rectification.
- Identify risks and hazards, eliminate them promptly and maintain proficiency in emergency prevention measures.
- Inspect, guide and evaluate the HSSE management of subcontractors, and propose rewards and penalties.
- Summarize and report weekly on regional management conditions, including special inspections on environment, fire safety and traffic, in electronic format or PPT.
