Human Resources Manager & Assistant

About the role

We are seeking experienced HR professionals to join Mosaic Visa Algeria in Algiers. The positions include a Human Resources Manager and a Human Resources Assistant who will ensure full compliance with Algerian labour regulations and support our growing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all HR operations, ensuring adherence to Algerian labour law and CNAS requirements.
• Handle employee registration, updates, declarations and coordinate inspections with CNAS and labour authorities.
• Manage end‑to‑end payroll, including salary calculations, payslips, bonuses, overtime, tax and social security filings.
• Oversee work‑permit and residency‑permit processes for foreign staff, liaising with the Ministry of Labour and immigration services.
• Conduct recruitment, screening, interviews, onboarding and probation follow‑up.
• Draft employment contracts, internal policies and maintain comprehensive personnel files.
• Track attendance, leave, performance and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as primary contact for labour inspection, tax authorities and legal advisors.
• Prepare HR reports, KPIs and drive process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management or operations within Algeria.
• Deep knowledge of CNAS procedures, payroll administration and foreign employee work‑permit regulations.
• Strong understanding of Algerian labour law and experience dealing with government authorities.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of discretion, professionalism and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English (mandatory); French or Arabic a plus.
