IT Specialist

About the role

The IT Specialist will ensure the reliable operation of computer networks, workstations, and server systems for our Algiers location. This role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software while providing end‑user support and training.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and repair computer networks, workstations and server systems.
• Manage user accounts, hardware, software and telephone room equipment.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot LAN/WAN and internet connectivity issues.
• Coordinate equipment installations, moves, additions, and system enhancements.
• Implement network security measures and maintain backup procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all technological devices and manage disk space across the network.
• Deliver end‑user training on proper system use and security.
• Follow company policies, ensure confidentiality, and support a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum two years of relevant IT experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lb and navigate stairs or ramps.
