Linux System Administrator (Account Engineer)

About the role

Opencode Systems is a telecommunications solutions provider seeking motivated individuals to join as Linux System Administrators (Account Engineers). You will help mobile operators launch and maintain new services built on Opencode technology.

Key responsibilities

• Project Engineering – installation, integration, testing, commissioning and live activation.
• Account Engineering – live support, help‑desk, change requests and technical follow‑up.
• Operational Support – system monitoring, preventive maintenance, health‑care and training.
• Emergency Support – first‑level incident handling, reporting and on‑call 24/7 availability.
• Customer site visits to provide necessary technical assistance.
• Ensure MOP approval, on‑time delivery, high‑quality documentation and internal collaboration.
• Pre‑sales support, participation in tenders and identification of sales needs.

Required profile

• Fluent English (mandatory) and another language is a plus.
• 2+ years experience in Computer or Telecom Engineering.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in an international environment, meet deadlines and lead tasks.

• SQL and general database management.
• Networking and LAN technologies.
• Core network knowledge.
• Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Ansible, Puppet, Vagrant (preferred).
• Geoserver (preferred).
