About the role
The Loss Prevention Supervisor ensures the safety and security of guests, employees and assets at the Marriott Hotel in Algiers. Reporting to hotel management, you will lead proactive loss‑prevention initiatives, respond to emergencies and uphold the highest standards of hospitality security.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and monitor access to restricted zones.
- Conduct emergency response drills, safety inspections and investigations.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels, authorising and documenting access to secured areas.
- Provide first aid/CPR, coordinate with EMS and handle accidents.
- Interview witnesses, gather information and produce confidential incident reports.
- Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and enforce alcoholic beverage control laws.
- Support management in training, coaching and motivating security staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Required profile
- Proven experience in loss prevention, security or safety within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, decisive actions.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unaided.
