Manufacturing Operator I

About the role

Medline Industries is seeking a reliable Operator I to work on its converting and packaging lines. The role involves operating a variety of equipment to produce high‑quality wipes and related products in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate, and stack cloth materials.
• Run packaging equipment, loading film and labels to create complete wipe packages.
• Manage automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support tasks as needed.
• Read and follow equipment procedures, set up machines safely, and document machine parameters.
• Identify machine failures, make adjustments, or involve maintenance.
• Monitor product quality and adjust processes to meet specifications.
• Complete regular equipment and area cleaning and act as backup for other positions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 2 years experience in high‑volume manufacturing.
• Ability to read charts, indicators, control instructions, and operator checklists in English.
• Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal calculations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold environments.
