MCO Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence Lead

About the role

The MCO Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence Lead will shape data‑driven decision‑making across Sanofi’s commercial units. Working within the Insights & Analytics team, you will partner with finance, marketing, transformation and commercial leaders to deliver actionable market intelligence that supports portfolio strategy and new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Act as consultant for MCO leaders, including Marketing and Commercial Heads, to promote data‑based decisions.
• Prioritize biopharma and vaccine portfolios (Immunology, Rare Diseases, Onco‑Hemato, Flu, RSV, brand launches).
• Create and execute a data acquisition strategy that supports analytics and operational needs.
• Evaluate and inform Specialty Care go‑to‑market strategies across Africa using analytics and insights.
• Partner with Finance, Marketing, Transformation and Commercial Sales to deliver cross‑GBU insights and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Develop a systematic framework for local insights generation and action.
• Coordinate and execute market research in compliance with company policies.
• Lead deployment of global‑to‑local reporting offerings and act as local data steward.
• Align local reporting needs with global strategies and support Sanofi hubs in transition activities.
• Leverage AI‑driven global market insights to derive local implications for at least five new launches per year.
• Build a comprehensive local market performance framework to support Marketing Heads with data‑driven medical intelligence.

Required profile

• Consultative approach to support MCO leaders and drive strategic decisions.
• Experience delivering market insights and competitive intelligence in a pharmaceutical or biopharma environment.
• Ability to collaborate with global and local teams to align reporting and analytics.
