Medical Scientific Liaison – Field Role

About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a field‑based medical affairs professional who acts as a bridge between Pfizer and healthcare professionals (HCPs). Spending the majority of time in the field, the MSL provides accurate medical information, gathers insights, and supports the delivery of Pfizer’s therapeutic strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a conduit for medical information, responding to HCP inquiries in line with Pfizer guidance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of therapeutic areas, disease states, and Pfizer medicines.
• Deliver approved medical content through presentations, virtual meetings, and written communications.
• Provide education on real‑world data and clinical impact of Pfizer products to inform HCP decision‑making.
• Identify and pursue medical engagement opportunities, including collaborative projects and non‑interventional studies.
• Share customer insights internally to shape medical strategies and improve patient outcomes.
• Support investigator‑sponsored research processes and stay current with congress data and literature.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine or Pharmacy.
• 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (medical or commercial).
• Prior exposure to the relevant therapeutic area is preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry codes, policies, and local regulations.
