National Field Operations Manager

About the role

Danone MENA is looking for a National Field Operations Manager based in Algiers, Algeria. The role will lead the medical and field activities that drive growth of Danone’s infant milk portfolio, focusing on increasing prescriptions from healthcare professionals while complying with the RightWAY program and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the medical strategy in collaboration with Marketing and cross‑functional teams.
• Co‑create annual medical action plans and recommend actions based on impact analysis.
• Design and deliver a comprehensive training programme for medical supervisors and representatives.
• Develop tools and multimedia support for the medical delegation.
• Measure, monitor and report on KPIs for the medical team and related actions.
• Coach medical representatives, including joint visits with supervisors.
• Identify and share best practices across DNAO medical teams.
• Support high‑quality scientific events to enhance Danone’s reputation among healthcare professionals.
• Develop and execute a maternity unit strategy to increase market share and product recommendations.
• Deploy and support Key Account Managers in maternity units and track performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical or field operations within the nutrition or healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of the infant nutrition market and prescription dynamics.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Experience leading and training medical teams.
• Familiarity with local healthcare institutions, pediatric societies and regulatory environment.
