National ICT Officer (NO.A)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Information and Communications Technology Officer (NO.A) to lead ICT operations in its Country Office. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and the Resources Management Officer, the incumbent will ensure that ICT services align with IOM’s global strategy, policies, and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the ICT unit, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Allocate resources efficiently in line with IOM’s ICT strategy.
• Collaborate with office management, unit heads, and field operations to provide appropriate ICT solutions.
• Act as the primary ICT liaison with IOM programs, donors, UN agencies, government bodies, and vendors.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, incident response, and training for staff.
• Escalate complex issues to regional or headquarters specialist teams.
• Develop and maintain ICT documentation, including SOPs, business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk registers.
• Monitor service delivery, ensure redundancy, and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing ICT operations within an international or governmental setting.
• Strong ability to supervise teams and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Familiarity with ICT governance, cybersecurity, and vendor management.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.
