Owner & Writer – Academic Content Specialist

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position at Université Félix Houphouët‑Boigny focuses on owning and producing written materials for academic and institutional communication. The Owner/Writer will shape content strategy, ensure editorial quality, and support the university’s outreach and internal information needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and maintain editorial calendars for academic publications, reports, and web content.
• Research topics, draft, edit, and proofread articles, reports, and digital content.
• Coordinate with faculty, staff, and design teams to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and engaging presentation.
• Maintain an organized archive of all published materials.
• Align all content with institutional guidelines, branding, and strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Strong research and analytical abilities with a focus on clear, accurate presentation.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, attentive to style and tone.
• Experience developing content strategies or editorial plans in academic or professional settings.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in literature, communication, journalism, education, or a related field; advanced studies are a plus.
