Packer Technician

About the role

The Packer Technician ensures smooth operation of production lines in the SMD area, meeting quantity and quality targets while minimizing waste. Working on a shift basis, the role supports continuous, safe, and efficient manufacturing at British American Tobacco’s Oran facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to keep production machines running without interruption.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
• Monitor waste levels and implement actions to reduce production loss.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for machines and processes.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and environmental standards in the assigned area.
• Complete required reports, checklists, and IWS workflow tasks during the shift.

Required profile

• Technical high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to work with mechanical parts and measuring tools.
• Strong adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
