Patient Registration Scheduler – Bariatric Clinic

About the role

The Bariatric Clinic at HonorHealth is seeking a dedicated Registration Scheduler to serve as the first point of contact for patients. You will ensure smooth registration, scheduling, and administrative support for bariatric services, contributing to high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, greet patients, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Register new patients, create electronic health records, obtain signatures, and verify insurance authorizations.
• Schedule initial and follow‑up appointments, track no‑shows, and communicate updates to physicians.
• Maintain patient charts, coordinate with physicians’ offices, and ensure HIPAA‑compliant handling of records.
• Support imaging workflow: retrieve images from the PACS system, prepare patients for exams, and assist radiology staff as needed.
• Collect co‑pays, process payments, and handle daily deposit and billing tasks.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort with electronic medical record systems and basic data‑entry tools.
• Ability to follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required skills

• PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) usage.
