Process Lead – Trade Marketing & Distribution

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will develop and increase BAT Algeria's market share by leading a high‑performing team. The role combines field activities, negotiation, and data‑driven decision‑making to achieve commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement an Area Trade Marketing & Distribution plan aligned with regional objectives.
• Achieve targets for availability, visibility, volume, market share, quality (RQI) and customer pricing.
• Provide competitor activity reports and accurate day‑to‑day forecasting for distributor warehouses.
• Manage distributors to maximise volume, visibility and in‑store presence within budget.
• Track and evaluate the performance of the Trade Marketing & Distribution team.
• Execute action plans after distribution gap analysis and monitor cycle‑plan objectives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar role with team‑management responsibilities.
• Minimum 2 years in the FMCG industry.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commercial Sciences or equivalent.
• Fluency in French and Arabic; intermediate English.
• Valid Category B driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in trade systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong numerical analysis capability.
