Production Technologist – Production Optimization

About the role

The Production Technologist supports production optimization, well performance improvement, and integrated asset development for customer operations in Algeria. Working in a multidisciplinary team, the role analyses production, reservoir, completion and surface network data to identify constraints and recommend practical solutions that maximize hydrocarbon recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze production, well, reservoir and completion data to evaluate performance and identify constraints.
• Perform production surveillance, decline analysis, well diagnostics and integrated asset performance reviews.
• Support studies for artificial lift optimization, stimulation, workovers, water and gas management, and well intervention.
• Conduct nodal analysis, inflow/outflow performance evaluation and well deliverability assessments.
• Integrate geological, petrophysical, reservoir and production data to develop technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geoscientists, drilling/completion engineers and operations personnel on multidisciplinary studies.
• Prepare performance reports, technical evaluations, opportunity rankings, forecasts and client deliverables.
• Utilize production engineering software, surveillance platforms and data analytics tools to monitor wells and support decision‑making.
