Program Officer – Operational Lead for StartAlgeria

About the role

The Program Officer will be the hands‑on operational lead for the StartAlgeria programme, ensuring day‑to‑day delivery of all activities. Working closely with the Flat6Labs Program Manager, the Officer will coordinate logistics, manage vendors, and support participating entrepreneurs, experts and mentors throughout the programme lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily programme delivery, maintain the calendar, track sessions and deadlines, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Organise and oversee virtual and physical workshops, bootcamps, info‑sessions and the final closure event, handling venue sourcing, A/V, catering, technical equipment and participant communications.
• Source, quote, and manage local vendors and service providers, ensuring quality, value for money and proper record‑keeping of expenditures and contracts.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding of participating entrepreneurs (ESOs), handle invitations, registrations, reminders and post‑event follow‑ups.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ESOs, monitor attendance and engagement, distribute programme materials and escalate issues to the Program Manager.
• Prepare event briefing documents, provide post‑event debriefs and document operational learnings for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Highly organized and detail‑oriented professional.
• Experience in programme or project coordination, events management or a related field.
• Strong operational focus with the ability to deliver quality results on schedule.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to participant support.
