Project Execution & Tendering Leader – Algeria & Tunisia

About the role

The Project Execution & Tendering Leader will drive both the tendering strategy and the execution of projects across Algeria and Tunisia for Schneider Electric. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, profitability, and effective risk management while leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric quality standards and processes.
• Maintain overall project profitability and gross margin.
• Lead the project management team in developing and maintaining the Project Management Plan.
• Direct the tendering team to devise winning strategies for new projects.
• Implement change control over scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Collaborate with functional managers to secure skilled resources for project and tendering teams.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve project risks and issues, driving corrective actions to closure.
• Develop early‑career talent through certification training and mentorship.
• Strengthen opportunity portfolio management by ensuring reliable data and proper qualification.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication at all project levels.
• Proactive leadership with the ability to adapt to a geographically dispersed environment.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and ISO requirements.
• Excellent time‑management, organization, and customer‑service orientation.
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
• Leadership skills for team building, empowerment, and consensus in a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of contract procedures, contract law, codes, standards, and construction industry practices.
