Quality Trainee – QHSSE (Cargo Operations)

About the role

Swissport Algeria is seeking a motivated Quality Trainee to join its cargo operations at Algiers Airport. This position offers a hands‑on introduction to Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (QHSSE) practices within the aviation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support inspections, HIRA assessments, audits and safety drills in cargo handling.
• Assist in incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and reporting.
• Monitor QHSSE and cargo operational KPIs and contribute to performance dashboards.
• Participate in prevention campaigns, awareness activities and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Help ensure compliance with aviation regulations, including Dangerous Goods, CEIV Pharma and RA3 requirements.

Required profile

• Currently studying HSE, Quality, Environment, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Analytical, organized and detail‑oriented with strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Fluent in English and eager to learn about aviation and air cargo.
• Proactive, curious and interested in continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• General competence in Microsoft Office applications.
