Sales Manager Consultant – Specialty Fats (North Africa)

About the role

Bunge is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager Consultant to lead the growth of its specialty fats business across Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia. This consulting engagement will focus on active marketing, client acquisition, and establishing Bunge as a leading supplier of oils and fats in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through proactive outreach, calls, and regular meetings.
• Build strong client relationships to secure new business and position Bunge as a premier supplier.
• Leverage Bunge’s product portfolio and reputation to gain market share.
• Meet with existing and targeted clients (45% of time) to understand oil and fat needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Applications, Technical Support, Customer Service, and Finance/Compliance (15%).
• Work with Bunge distributors and agents to execute regional marketing strategies (10%).
• Provide competitive pricing and manage sample delivery for client testing (10%).
• Prepare annual budgets and commercial plans for the territory (5%).
• Compile sales reports and participate in performance review meetings (5%).
• Maintain client interaction records in the CRM system (5%).
• Handle administrative tasks related to client account setup and compliance (5%).

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development within the agribusiness or specialty fats sector.
• Strong client‑facing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical, service, and finance teams.
• Consulting mindset with a results‑driven approach.

Required skills

• CRM system usage for tracking client interactions and pipeline.
