Sales Manager - Hotel

About the role

Holiday Inn Cheraga Tower in Algiers is looking for a Sales Manager to develop the hotel's revenue through prospecting, negotiation and customer relationship management. The role manages a portfolio of clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies and groups, and works closely with Revenue, Marketing and Operations to maximise occupancy and revenue in line with IHG standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients such as companies, travel agencies and event organisers, and develop tailored commercial proposals.
• Negotiate rates and contractual terms in line with the hotel's pricing policy.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, keep their information up to date in the CRM system and analyse account performance to propose action plans.
• Work with Reservations, Revenue, Banquets, Food & Beverage and Rooms teams, take part in sales meetings and ensure agreed services and arrangements are delivered.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activity and customer trends, contribute to the sales budget and forecasts, and report regularly on sales performance, targets, results and the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Hospitality Management or an equivalent field.
• 2 to 4 years of sales experience, ideally in the hospitality or tourism industry.
• Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English are essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency in office software and CRM systems (Delphi, Opera, etc.).
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and strong organisational and time management skills.
