Security Professional

About the role

The Police Department in Algeria is seeking a full‑time Security Professional to protect its facilities, personnel and information. Working on‑site, you will monitor access points, conduct regular patrols and respond promptly to any security incidents, ensuring a safe environment for staff and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry points using access control systems.
• Perform routine patrols of buildings and grounds to detect and deter threats.
• Document security events, prepare incident reports and support investigations.
• Collaborate with law‑enforcement teams and internal units during emergencies.
• Operate surveillance equipment and communication tools to maintain situational awareness.
• Participate in security drills, training sessions and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or policing certifications are a plus.
• Physical fitness suitable for regular patrols and the ability to work shifts.
• Calm under pressure with strong communication abilities.
• Experience in law‑enforcement or security services is beneficial.

Required skills

• Cybersecurity and information security knowledge, including data protection and threat assessment.
• Physical security expertise such as facility protection, access control and incident response.
• Basic network security understanding, including network monitoring and recognizing suspicious activity.
