Senior Cost Control Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cost Control Engineer will join the Baladna Project in Adrar, Algeria, providing expert oversight of project finances. This role ensures that budgets, expenditures, and cash flows are accurately tracked and reported, supporting the overall success of a large‑scale construction and industrial initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash‑flow analyses.
• Track actual costs against approved budgets and identify variances.
• Support project management with accurate cost performance reporting.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, commercial, and project teams.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial control activities.
• Recommend corrective actions to maintain project cost objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of cost‑control experience on large construction, industrial, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and earned‑value management.
• Experience in mega‑projects is highly desirable.

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems.
• Primavera P6 (preferred).
